Slingshot Readers,

We NEED your support. More specifically, the author of this article needs your support. If you've been enjoying our content, you know that a lot of work goes into our stories and although it may be a work of passion, writers gotta eat. If just half our readers gave 1 DOLLAR a month, one measly dollar, we could fund all the work from StuChiu, DeKay, Emily, Andrew (and even Vince). If you contribute 5 DOLLARS a month, we invite you to join our Discord and hang with the team. We wouldn't bother you like this if we didn't need your help and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation goes to the writers. We'd really appreciate your support. Polish CS:GO team VenatoreS DQ’d from WESG for having a player with a VAC ban on one of his accounts

WESG disqualified Polish team VenatoreS from the event for having a VAC-banned placer

The World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) disqualified Polish Counter-Strike team VenatoreS after a player was found to have a VAC ban on one of his accounts.

One of Patryk “Patitek” Fabrowski’s profiles was found to have a VAC ban on it, WESG announced Friday, meaning the team has been disqualified from the event and has lost its spot at the LAN European qualifier.

As a result of the disqualification, all VenatoreS’ matches were overturned. That means Virtus.pro, PRIDE, Izako Boars and Check-Point will have another chance to earn a spot to the European LAN qualifier in Barcelona, Spain. Two teams from the Polish qualifiers will advance to the 20-team European qualifier that takes place Nov. 22-26.
