I’ve been in esports for a bit now. Long enough to remember when people like Slasher heavily campaigned for the use of eSports instead of esports.
As I use the word trash all the time to denote bad teams, I’ve created this list to differentiate the different levels of trash there are in competition.
All esports I follow have great super large tournaments. For League of Legends, it’s worlds, for StarCraft 2 it’s GSL, for CS:GO it’s the Majors, for the FGC it’s EVO.
The grand final of The International 7 was the height of the careers of the Newbee roster: Xu “Moogy” Han, Song “Sccc” Chun, Damien “kpii” Chok, Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi and Zeng “Faith” Hongda.
After the first week of the group stage at the League of Legends World Championship, Fnatic’s hope seemed dashed.
This is one of the dumber arguments I’ve come across: The one that fans cite all the time that “pros need to know all the maps” in CSGO and Overwatch.
