League of Legends and PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) comprised almost 50 percent of Korean PC bang play rates last week, while Overwatch hit an all-time low since the game’s release.
PLAYERUNKNOWN’s BATLEGROUNDS has overtaken Overwatch as the No. 2 game in PC Bang play rates, according to a weekly report by Daily eSports.
A previous law in South Korea, punished PC Bang owners for being caught with underage children playing games rated 15 and above, has been relaxed to give establishments a “caution” before being shut down, reports GameMeca’s Kim Mee-hee.
The pre-Overwatch status quo seems to have returned to Korean PC Bang percentages, with League of Legends the clear No. 1 played game and Overwatch not close behind it.
